New Adventures

New Adventure

Ethan and I are about to embark on a new adventure!

Many of you know that we both have backpacked a two-day, one night trek at Goodwater Loop. (link to video)

We have also hiked a couple hundred miles together.

Soon, we will be bikepacking on a couple E-bikes.

This is new to both of us, and the unknowns brings an array of emotions.

The excitement of another adventure is there but so is the anxiety of the unknowns.

There are so many people that go through life without going on any adventures.

The number one reason is that anxiety that creeps in when we think about trying something new or challenging.

The devil loves to bring that fear in with seeds of doubt, so we won’t try something new.

Have you thought about going on an adventure?

Whether it is a trek back packing or bike packing or attending a Bible study or outreach, we must remember that God is with us!

Judges 18:6 NLT “Go in peace,” the priest replied. “For the LORD is watching over your journey.”

The Lord will watch over our journey always! Amen?

I have been blessed with so many different adventures and the Lord has always kept me safe. Amen?

The Lord also rewards me with a sweet sleep when I am on my adventures.

Proverbs 3:23-24 NIV (23) Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. (24) When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Is there an adventure calling you?

Maybe it is your first fast.

Maybe a Bible study group you are supposed to join.

Maybe it is an exercise and diet routine to get the temple in shape.

It could be anything but the one thing that always seems to creep in is that fear or doubt that the devil brings in!

Listen, Fear is only temporary, regret lasts forever!

Embrace that new adventure today.

Be blessed

Interruptions

Interruptions

I don’t like to be interrupted.

I’ll bet you also don’t like being interrupted, right?

I don’t know anyone who likes being interrupted.

It doesn’t matter whether we are talking or in the middle of doing something - we don’t like being interrupted.

I have a morning routine and its MY ROUTINE.

I have a biological clock that gets me up early.

This morning, after starting the coffee, I woke Ethan up at 6AM so he could start his school early.

I changed into my swim trunks and as I came out of the bathroom my son was standing there!

He startled me and was interrupting my routine!

He whispered, “Are you getting in the hot tub?”

I told him that I was, and he asked, “Can I get in with you?”

I had gotten him up early to start his schoolwork!

He needed to eat and get a shower!

He only had a certain amount of time before he would be leaving to go to the Blessings.

But I also knew that tomorrow I will only be able to wish he was standing there asking me if he could join me!

I nodded and whispered, “Yes, of course you can.”

I got my coffee and headed to the hot tub with my son close behind.

We enjoyed the therapy in silence.

As I laid there in the hot tub, enjoying the bonding time in total silence I thought about other interruptions. Amen?

You ever been interrupted by God? LOL

If we want to encounter God (that quiet bonding time my son and I were experiencing), we had better be ready for interruptions.

The Bible says, in Proverbs 19:21 NIV Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

Be grateful for the interruptions.

Be Thankful

Be Thankful

Last night during Bible study we talked about being thankful for what we have.

It seems like even Tammy and I will get caught up in wanting.

Yes, just wanting something bigger, or better or nicer.

You know what I mean?

Have you ever caught yourself wanting?

But we should spend our time being thankful!

May you find yourself with a content heart this morning and thankful.

Have a blessed day.

To Do List

To Do List

Do you use “to do lists?”

I have so many to do lists it is ridiculous.

I have a “to do list” of “To do lists!”

I thought about this while going over our to do checklist for our adventure we are about to go on.

We have an RV checklist for when we are going to leave in the motorhome. That list has 364 items on it and still growing after all these years of using it.

But that time spent planning and making the list and checking it off as we make sure it is loaded into the motorhome has saved many headaches over the years!

Did you know that God likes to do lists?

To give you just a couple of examples, when God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle, He gave him very specific to do lists of how to do it and what to use (Exodus 26).

That is right.

Moses had a list to check and make sure he was getting things done right. Cool Huh?

And also, in Matthew 10, when Jesus sent out the 12 disciples, he sent them off with specific to do lists of who to talk to, what to do, what to take, where to stay and even what to do if and when they were rejected (Matthew 10:5-14).

So, it seems that God likes us using to do lists. What do you think?

Do you have your to do list?

The first thing at the top, is it, “spend time with God!”?
Just asking.

Have a blessed day.

I will be sending my next blog post from Cedar Ridge Campgrounds!

God is so good.

Game Exchange

Game Exchange

This morning we are heading to the Game Exchange so Ethan can exchange some of his old games and game systems to get something “better.”

You see the old games that he is exchanging were once his “pride and joy”.

He has had to think long and hard about what he is going to “trade in.”

He knows that they have one movie set that he considers the “Big Find” and is looking forward to getting it today, if they still have it.

As I was sitting here sipping of my coffee and listening to the excitement in his voice as he explains his hopes that the DVD set is still there, he said something that caught my attention.

“I just hope I am taking enough stuff to be able to get it,” he said.

I thought about another exchange that we read about in the Bible.

Matthew 13:46 BBE And having come across one jewel of great price, he went and gave all he had in exchange for it.

Yes!

The kingdom of heaven is that one great pearl that we are willing to exchange everything we have, to acquire. Amen?

Do you have anything that could stop you from obtaining that great pearl?

May this day find you heading to that “game exchange” to turn in all your “pride and joy” items and receive the most valuable pearl ever!

Have a blessed day

Scraping Paint

Scraping Paint

Yesterday I scraped and scraped the old paint on the trim of the house for about six hours.

The trim was looking bad and now it looked even worse.

This morning I was going to start painting but God had other plans and we went to a veteran’s home and mowed his yard for him.

Now that Ethan’s school work is done, it is time to paint that trim!

Looking at the bare wood in many places and the original paint in other spots, the trim looks terrible.

But after this paint job it is going to look awesome! Amen?

This reminds me of the word of God. (Surprise, right?)

Ephesians 4:22-23 ESV (22) to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, (23) and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, (24) and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Scrape away the old you and be renewed!

Are You a Storm Chaser?

Are You a Storm Chaser?

Have you ever noticed a rainstorm coming?

Of course, you have but did you jump on your motorcycle and head for it?

Tammy and I used to see how close we could get to the rain without getting caught in the rain. LOL.

The feeling of the temperature dropping drastically was distinctive that we were closing in!

We have some awesome memories of riding along a country road where rain was falling within a few yards on one side of us while the other side was dry as a bone.

I remember one time, sitting on the bike at an intersection with the bike shut off listening to the rain coming down, hitting the corn leaves, slowly approaching us.

Then I would chuckle and start the bike and head away from the rain.

Many times, we returned home dry but there were times that we returned drenched. LOL

The emotions of being so close to the rain and feeling the cold front surround us was overwhelming.

You could physically feel the presence of God manipulating "mother nature" as he wanted!

Maybe you have been reading this and thought, “What a nut!” LOL

Maybe being that kind of Storm Chaser is not for you but I want to share with you what it reminds me of.

Chasing those clouds reminds me of God.

Psalms 97:2 KJV Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

You are probably thinking, wait a minute, clouds and darkness is where I’ll find God?

Oh yeah!

Exodus 33:9 KJV And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.

Each time Moses went to enter there was a cloud, amen?

Exodus 24:15-16 KJV And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. (16) And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

God was in the storm! Amen?

Yeah Buddy!

I guess you could say that Moses might have been the first original storm chaser!

May you start being a Storm Chaser today.

Be blessed

Don't Be A Fool

Don’t Be a Fool

Have you ever decided to do something and then later find out it was really stupid?

Tammy and I decided to float in a canoe down the Leon River from Ater to Gatesville.

Tammy wanted to pack some lunch, but I insisted that there was no need to.

I told her that it was only a little over twelve miles from the one town to the other.

She did convince me to take one extra bottle of water more than I had planned.

I had told Lee that we should be in Gatesville in about three to four hours and that we would call him once we arrived.

I was guessing that the water was flowing at approximately four to five miles an hour. At that rate we should actually arrive much sooner if we didn’t stop much.

After four hours and on our last bottle of water, I called Lee to tell him I had no idea where we were or how much longer it would take to get to Gatesville.

We were both hungry and I realized that I should have talked to some local residents about my plans.

You know, sometimes we go off to do something for the Lord without consulting other brothers and sisters and learn that it isn’t going as planned.

That is when we think maybe we should have asked an elder or two about their thoughts on the matter, right?

Proverbs 19:20 KJV Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

My wife had asked about taking food along and I refused. So, I did receive some wise counsel on preparation but refused to listen.

Hmm, the word of God mentions that also…

Proverbs 12:15 NIV The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.

What a fool! I should have listened.

We were thirsty!

We were hungry!

We were hot and exhausted!

After ten hours on the Leon River, we arrived to Gatesville!

Ten hours!

Lee picked us up just before dark!

The next day, a friend of mine, Curtis Harvey, noticed how burnt my face was and asked what I had been doing.

I told him that we had floated the river from Ater to Gatesville, but it took longer than I had expected.

He laughed and said, “I am sure it did! Any old timer could have told you that there are one hundred miles of the Leon from Jonesboro to Gatesville!”

Yep, did I mention we should seek wise counsel? LOL

I pray that I stay sensitive to the spirit of God and always seek HIS counsel in all my decisions. Amen?

In this world today we can see the blind leading the blind daily and wonder how that can be!

Matthew 15:14 NIV Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.

May we all seek wise counsel daily from the Lord and HIS helpers he places in our path so we can make good decisions about everything in our lives.

Have a blessed day!

Rejected

Rejected

The division that is going on in this country is affecting the body of Christ as well as the families themselves.

I shared back in July how one family, after traveling to visit another family member for hours, was not allowed to enter their home or even pet their dog.

The fear created by this ongoing panic-demic had stopped a family from its normal time of fellowship.

It has also created a division among the body of Christ.

This is nothing new, really.

The devil has been creating division among believers for as long as time.

Some of you have probably experienced that rejection also.

Tammy and I were once ignored by an entire church while we were broke down in their parking lot.

Why?

Because we were different. That is the only reason, we were different.

We were in our riding leathers and riding a motorcycle. (You can read about it in my first book)

The church was about to have their evening service and had many folks attend.

They had their service and then left.

Not a one offering any assistance.

Some Christians are so busy making a loud noise to the Lord that they can’t hear what he is trying to tell them?

1 Kings 19:12 KJV And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

Sometimes we just need to shut up to hear what God is trying to whisper to us, amen?

The division that has been created in our country today and seems to keep growing is causing more and more brothers and sisters to reject one another.

This is exactly what the devil wants!

If there was ever a time for the body of Christ to unite, it is now.

We will never all agree on everything, but we should unite together in prayer for this dark and perverse country and for one another.

You see that division keeps us from being in agreement in prayer for our country.

Seek God’s guidance in uniting today with the body of Christ and pray for our country.

Be blessed

Changes Ahead

Changes Ahead

Our country is going to hell in a handbasket!

I am still in shock at the person that was supposedly elected as our president.

You will never be able to convince me that we have that many idiots in this country!

If we do, then we are no longer going to hell in a handbasket but have arrived!

Many of my friends have shared with me their concerns and about how stressed they are.

It all comes down to the changes that are being mandated and the division that it has created.

The only word of encouragement I could think of was that I know the one that does not change! Amen?

So, don’t get stressed out over the current events of today.

They will change tomorrow anyway. Just saying….

Instead, focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, for he is always the same.

Hebrews 13:8 KJV Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Praise the King.

The Spirit of Rizpah

The Spirit of Rizpah

2 Samuel 21:9-10 KJV (9) And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest. (10) And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.

I don’t know about you! but I desire to have the spirit of Rizpah! Amen?

She wasn’t going to allow the scavengers of this world have her children!

Not even their dead bodies!

We need the spirit of Rizpah in our lives, amen?

We need a spirit of Rizpah to stand firm until the king comes!

Just like Rizpah proved in 2 Samuel (When she refused to quit!) your determination will get the attention of the king.

2 Samuel 21:12 KJV (12) And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead, which had stolen them from the street of Bethshan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:

You may be fighting to save your dreams, fighting to save your ministry, fighting to defeat sickness, or fighting to protect your family like Rizpah was.

Maybe you are almost at your breaking point and ready to give up.

But keep persevering and pursuing and grab a hold of a determination that says, “None of these things are going to move me away from Gods promises. Even when there’s no fight left in me; I won’t let go! Amen?

We must fight off the spirits of the enemy of our generation or there will not be another generation of fighters.

How close are you to being delivered?

How close are you to a Healing?

How close is your child to being saved or a friend being delivered?

How close is your financial breakthrough?

Listen, here's what I am telling you, if you will watch long enough...if you'll hold on long enough...word is going to get to King Jesus. Amen?

Hallelujah!

He's going to send a chariot full of the Holy Ghost and fire.

That is going to bring that Healing!

That child is going to be saved!

That friend is going to be delivered!

Your financial breakthrough is going to happen!

Do you have the spirit of Rizpah?

May you have it today and everyday from here on.

God bless

Attack on America

Attack on America

Everyone knows that today is the 20th anniversary of the attacks on American soil.

Those attacks brought a unity like I have never seen before or since.

We were all united as just Americans. No adjective in front! Just Americans and the majority united in prayer to the one true God.

The churches were filled with hurting Americans!

The American flag was being sold out everywhere and flying everywhere!

There wasn’t a movement to NOT fly a flag or worse to KNEEL during the National Anthem.

In fact, emotions were high every time the National Anthem was played.

Patriotism was running rampant regardless of any political affiliation or ethnic background of us AMERICANS!

When the enemy attacks, that is what usually happens, and history has proven that.

But what has happened to this country today?

We have had elected leaders that have promoted division within.

The attack by satan and his puppets is from within!

We are divided now more than I have ever seen.

Our country can not and will not last if we do not have a revival in this land and soon!

Mark 3:24-25 NIV (24) If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. (25) If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Join me in praying that all the corruption in our government from the white house down to the local elected positions be exposed and that God fearing, and able people replace them!

I said it yesterday and I say it again, we MUST have God fearing and able men in our government. Amen?

Exodus 18:21 NIV But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

Continue to pray that prayer with me and share this post with others that will be in agreement for the corruption to be exposed and Godly men filling the gaps!

Have a blessed day.

Worried About Tomorrow?

Worried About Tomorrow?

Many friends and family have indicated their concerns about tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be twenty years to the day that we were attacked on American soil.

After twenty years, our country just turned its back and left.

The enemy has been celebrating and making mockery of America since.

Many are anticipating that the enemy will do something big tomorrow in celebration of their victory.

It is easy to get caught up in that thinking but we just need to remember that today has enough problems of its own. Amen?

Jesus said this: Matthew 6:34 NIV Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Today, we need to focus our prayers on the evil that is within.

Our country is imploding due to the evil ones "elected" to office.

Pray for those that actually did vote for the evil ones. Pray that God draws them to HIM and the scales be removed from their eyes.

Pray for a settling of the Holy Spirit on our government from the white house on down.

We need God fearing and able men in our government.

Exodus 18:21 NIV But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

So, let’s pray the spirit of conviction to come over those in office today and that the scales be removed, and they become blood bought saints of God.

That will stop the imploding of this country. Amen?

So don’t worry about tomorrow, pray for our problems of today.

Be blessed.

Homeschooling

Homeschooling (link to CBN article referred to)

I just found out this morning that homeschooling is growing!

Tammy and I decided to homeschool because we wanted to teach Ethan faith-based education.

We had already experienced the indoctrination of “Evolution as a Science” and if that wasn’t bad enough back then, today is even worse.

If there is one thing good that has come out of this panic-demic that we are still having, it is the American families are waking up to what the children are being taught in the schools.

Classes for helping the child determine their gender identity.

Promoting the same sex marriage agenda. This is not new! The book, “Heather has two mommies” has been around since 1990!

It is in more public-school libraries than not.

Anyway, I was reading an article that was on Christian Broadcasting Network. (We quit watching all the fake news)

It stated that homeschooling is now more than just a thing.

It's now a big thing and it's growing faster and larger than some folks probably ever imagined.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, many parents had to turn to remote learning via their local school district or private school as in-person classroom instruction shutdown.

However, when it was time for children to go back to school this fall, some reports indicate hundreds of thousands of parents across the nation decided to keep their kids at home.

As a result, the number of children being homeschooled has doubled just in the past two years.

Numbers do not lie.

The National Home Education Research Institute says two years ago, there were approximately 2.5 million students being homeschooled.  Today, that number is now at nearly 5 million.

Some parents want their kids to learn from a faith-based curriculum while others believe their local schools have problems with indoctrination on issues like Critical Race Theory.

"In Virginia alone, we have seen over a 48 percent increase in homeschoolers for the last school year. We went from 44,000 to 65,000 homeschoolers," she said. "Lots of parents have done this and say their child has done so much better or they're not being bullied."

We need to continue to pray for the Christian teachers in the public school system to be able to be the light needed for so many young ones.

I have read reports of children and teachers being disciplined for being outspoken about their faith but at the same time, my grandson comes home and wants to know why Trump is taking away women’s rights.

True story!

I explained that the rights she was talking about was the right to kill the baby inside her.

He responded, “That shouldn’t be a right.”

The words out of the mouths of babes, amen?

Psalms 8:2 KJV Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Anyway, when I read this article about homeschoolers doubling in a year and the reasons why, it made me think about the Berean people in the Bible!

We could all learn a lot by double checking what we are told and search the word ourselves, amen?

Acts 17:11 GNB The people there were more open-minded than the people in Thessalonica. They listened to the message with great eagerness, and every day they studied the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was really true.

When you go to church service, that is the “public school” setting.

Make sure to do as the Bereans did and search that scripture. Amen?

Have a blessed day.

Removing the Dirt

Removing the Dirt

Yesterday I started cleaning on the roof of the motorhome in preparation for applying a new coat of rubber roofing.

It had been a year since I had put the last coat of roofing on and quite a bit of dirt had accumulated.

The sides of the motorhome had nasty black trails from the top to the bottom from the run off on the roof once I was done.

The roof was now white again!

I smiled to myself as I thought about the word of God.

Psalms 51:7 KJV Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

David was pleading to be cleansed.

He asks the Lord to purge him with hyssop to make him clean and to wash him to make him whiter than snow. Amen?

To purge meant to purify by removing a stain.

I had removed the stains from the top of the roof, and it was white again!

But, once I had finished with the roof, I could see the worn spots and some cracks that were going to need some attention.

Today, I plan on putting on the new coat of white rubber roofing.

The new coat will fill in the small cracks and worn spots on the roof.

When I am finished, the whole roof will be white as snow and the cracks and worn spots will be covered!

This also reminds me of the living word of God.

1 John 1:7 KJV But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Yes! The blood of Christ cleans us up and COVERS the sin! Amen?

May you seek the Lord today to cleanse your heart and make you new! Amen?

Psalms 51:10 KJV Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Have a blessed day

From Milk to Meat

From Milk to Meat

Yesterday, Ethan was getting very frustrated with his algebra word problems!

We had to spend much more time on his math than usual on account of the challenge of understanding the word problems.

Let me tell you, they are not easy!

For example, one of his problems yesterday read; Jim earns money doing yard work each week. During three weeks, he earned a total of $168. If each week his earnings doubled, how much how much did he make each week?

See what I mean?

Ethan has to write out (create) the proper equation that will find the answer to this word problem.

Then after he has the equation figured out, he has to solve it.

Sometimes we get frustrated because we don’t understand something in the word.

It is even more common to not understand how another person can handle certain situations in a much more “righteous” manner than we can!

Especially when they are being ridiculed or mocked in some way.

We are all growing in the Lord daily, amen?

We all have to start out on the milk!

Spiritual baby food, amen?

We can’t try to eat meat until we are ready just like a newborn baby doesn’t get fed solid food until it is ready, amen?

That would be the same as me trying to get Ethan to write equations for word problems before we learn the multiplication tables!

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 NIV (1) Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. (2) I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

You see, we must digest the word of God in increments as we mature in the word. Amen?

Now, we must always digest milk but as we grow, we add solid food (meat) to our diet. Amen?

If we don’t, we will find ourselves on a milk only diet when we should be feeding others!

Hebrews 5:12 NIV In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

May this find you adding some meat to your spiritual food daily.

Oh, for anyone that was curious the equation is x + 2x + 4x = 168 and the solution is $24, $48 and $96.

Have a blessed day indeed.

Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day

Today is a national holiday of rest, amen?

Rest is good, amen?

The Bible tells us about a weekly Labor Day, right?

Exodus 20:9-10 NIV (9) Six days you shall labor and do all your work, (10) but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.

May you reflect on the Labor Day that God has given us and make plans to start enjoying that day weekly if you haven’t been.

If you have been enjoying that weekly Labor Day, may you reflect on how to make it an even more special day every week.

Have a blessed Labor Day!

Shake Off That Dust!

Shake Off That Dust!

Have you been rejected when trying to share the Gospel?

Have you been treated poorly while being a witness for the Lord?

It shouldn’t be a surprise as the word doesn’t say if you get rejected, it says whoever does reject you, that you are to leave and then dust off your feet. Amen?

One teaching is that you are not to take anything with you from that place, even the dust from that place!

So, WHEN you are rejected or treated badly, just leave that place and shake off the dust from your feet. Amen?

Matthew 10:14 KJV And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

I love how the message bible says it..

Matthew 10:14 MSG If they don't welcome you, quietly withdraw. Don't make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.

If they will not listen and will not receive the apostles, Jesus says they are not worthy of the apostles' time, attention, and continued effort.

Jesus tells them here to shake the dust off their feet when leaving that unworthy house.

If nobody in the town will hear them, they must shake the dust off their feet on the way out of town.

For us today, this verse reminds believers not to "carry" anything from those who reject the message of Christ.

Rejection brings offense and we must not let the devil get a foothold there! Taking offense is exactly what satan wants.

You see, earlier, Jesus commanded His followers not to waste time or effort on those who were clearly hostile.

Matthew 7:6 NIV "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Leave everything (all emotions) behind!

When you “shrug it off” the devil can’t get a foot hold.

Are you angry about a rejection?

Are you hurt?

Do you feel ostracized from family because of your boldness in the Lord?

No worries, shake off the dust today and “knock” on the next door.

Have a blessed day
