Small Things Becoming Bigger Things
Isn’t it scary how somethings that are so small can become an enormous problem?
Most mechanics will agree that they would rather get a normal scrape causing a gash in their hand then a papercut!
That does not make sense, but it is true, isn’t it?
We would rather have a huge cut that requires some first aid than a paper cut!
Tammy has been dealing with a tooth ache for four days now and it has only gotten worse.
I have had three women tell me that they would rather have another baby then a toothache!
Again, that does not compute as good logic, but it is true!
As I was sitting here drinking coffee and praying for a cancelation at the dentist so she can be seen today, I thought about how small things become bigger things!
The enormous storms that we endure started somewhere as a small insignificant cloud.
1 Kings 18:44 GNB (44) The seventh time he returned and said, "I saw a little cloud no bigger than a man's hand, coming up from the sea." Elijah ordered his servant, "Go to King Ahab and tell him to get in his chariot and go back home before the rain stops him."
A cloud no bigger than a man’s hand and the warning is to leave now or be stuck!
A small thing becoming something much bigger, right?
This also includes the good things in life!
Jesus taught about good things that start small becoming bigger.
Matthew 13:31-32 GNB (31) Jesus told them another parable: "The Kingdom of heaven is like this. A man takes a mustard seed and sows it in his field. (32) It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it grows up, it is the biggest of all plants. It becomes a tree, so that birds come and make their nests in its branches."
Thanks for your continued prayers for Tammy and may you have a day of something good growing bigger and bigger!
