Remove the Stuff That is in the Way!
Continuing from yesterday’s blog post, my replacement starter is supposed to arrive today. I am pretty sure that it will take care of my problem seeing as some of the teeth on the old one was broken or chipped.
But what I wanted to talk about today is the process for replacing the starter! I had to remove fuel lines and a fuel pump just to gain access to the started. Then I had a couple other items that had to be removed! Geeesh.
I have been “turning wrenches” for many years and have learned that it is much easier to remove stuff that is in the way than to try and work around it!
I have watched so many mechanics “taking shortcuts” because they are in a hurry to complete the task at hand only to find out it took longer.
Sometimes much longer because they broke something that should have been removed.
I encourage you to slow down and plan today. Don’t get in a hurry. It will probably take longer anyway.
Proverbs 21:5 MSG Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind.
As far as removing all the obstacles in my way for that starter, life in general is the same way.
Removing obstacles makes the path clear, amen?
Isaiah 57:14 MSG Someone says: "Build, build! Make a road! Clear the way, remove the rocks from the road my people will travel."
Have a blessed day.

Amen. Kinda like stop and smell the roses.
