BOW

BOW

This morning I finished a daily devotional, and it was too good not to share!

If you don’t know this, the most effective and powerful cure for anxiety is giving thanks and praising our Lord. Amen?

So, whenever you feel anxiety coming on you need to stop it in its tracks! Amen?

To so that just remember the acronym BOW.

Bow before Him. Bring all your cares to the Lord! Lay all your problems at the feet of Jesus. Amen? Afterall, HE knows all anyway, right? Bring Him your heartaches. Lay down the petitions for salvations for your children, spouse, family, co-workers, and more at HIS feet! Cast all of your cares upon Him believing that He cares for you. He is able. You are not. He is God. You are not!

Offload your anxiety. Take all your worries, all your anxieties and fear, even your unbelief and offload them at the altar of the Lord.

Worship the Lord. After we BOW and Offload, it is time to Worship! Amen? Worship him in the storm! Take your eyes off of yourself and off of your circumstances and set them securely upon the Lord! Amen?

Why not start right now! Is there something in your life creating some anxiety?

Take this moment to start BOW!

Read the following passage and BOW before God.

Psalms 95:1-11 GNB (1) Come, let us praise the LORD! Let us sing for joy to God, who protects us! (2) Let us come before him with thanksgiving and sing joyful songs of praise. (3) For the LORD is a mighty God, a mighty king over all the gods. (4) He rules over the whole earth, from the deepest caves to the highest hills. (5) He rules over the sea, which he made; the land also, which he himself formed. (6) Come, let us bow down and worship him; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! (7) He is our God; we are the people he cares for, the flock for which he provides. Listen today to what he says: (8) "Don't be stubborn, as your ancestors were at Meribah, as they were that day in the desert at Massah. (9) There they put me to the test and tried me, although they had seen what I did for them. (10) For forty years I was disgusted with those people. I said, 'How disloyal they are! They refuse to obey my commands.' (11) I was angry and made a solemn promise: 'You will never enter the land where I would have given you rest.' "

BOW before Him now.

Have a blessed day...
